Are you trying to get job done and by the end of the day things got barely done? I hear you. I find myself sitting on my desk early on the day and by the end of the day I have accomplished nothing or almost nothing. Getting distracted on social media or my email (inbox) are my daily battles.
What is working for me? I have created an editorial calendar for the next given month with topics I can write about that makes sense for my blog/business and is accurate for what’s happening that month. If it’s near the holidays a couple of gift guides or gifts under $20, $50 or $100 are great examples. I have started just recently with this plan and I can see it working wonderfully for me. I need structure and purpose for what I do, otherwise it won’t get done. My plan is to blog at least twice a week. Some weeks I may blog more and that is awesome, some weeks I may blog just once and that is going to be ok too. I won’t hurt myself when life gets busy or messy and I can’t accomplish my goal of the week. Embrace life as it happens keeping in mind your “why”.
You need to know what you are working on or towards to. You need to be clear about what you want and what matters most in your job. Why are you doing what you are doing? Why is your business important to you? When you are clear about it work is less overwhelming and more intentional.
Do you separate time frames during your working hours to read emails, do social media, create new products, do outreach on your media/area and for blog content creation? I am working on it and want you to join in if you are not organizing yourself. Things work beautifully when a team is on it together. I have separated time frames on a daily and weekly basis for things that must get done. Without leaving out time for myself and my other responsibilities. Kids drop off/pick up, meal planning, time with my husband and vacations/time off. Once the girls are off from school, I am their full time mommy, no negotiating on this time.
I want to hear from you, lets do this together!

Saludos.
